Worshiped from ages primordial, the Firegod is the father of music.

For millennia, he plied his trade in secret, providing inspiration to countless artists throughout history. Known by every name but his own, The Firegod existed as a spark in the darkness, accompanied only by his guitar and the occasional bottle of wine. How or when he descended to Earth is unknown. Some say a woman was involved. What is known, however, is that when the Firegod emerged on the Seattle music scene in the late 2000's, it was as a lonely, broken man.

The Firegod's musical style evokes the great songwriters of the 70s: Jackson Browne, Dan Fogelberg, Poco, and the Eagles. His lyrics are heartfelt; his melodies gentle. Yet, The Firegod is not deaf to modern trends. He seamlessly incorporates contemporary sounds and instrumentation such as synths, electronic beats, and MIDI to craft his own sound. The Firegod's music exists at the crossroads of the past and present, paying homage to the former while embracing the latter.

Since his emergence, The Firegod has been a very prolific artist. In addition to his work with the band JJAHBG, The Firegod has released five full-length solo albums, two EPs, and a growing collection of singles. His latest EP Bring it In released in July 2020.
